We are delighted to confirm that former captain Matt Keith’s Wall of Fame banner has been raised at Braehead Arena.
The Canadian who joined the Clan from Red Bull Salzburg in 2014, is flying into Glasgow this week ahead of THIS SATURDAY’s big home game against the Dundee Stars.
Clan Hockey & Operations Director Gareth Chalmers commented: “There was no question from my perspective on who should go up on the wall this season.
“Matt was a massive signing for this club and went on to be a highly influential player for the organisation – in my opinion probably the best signing this club has ever made.
“Matt brought a new level of professionalism and leadership that we had been looking for, his strong Scottish heritage will also mean he will always have a special place in the hearts of everyone involved in the Clan.”
Matt and his wife Chelsea will be in attendance at THIS SATURDAY’s game v the Dundee Stars at Braehead Arena (7:00pm face-off), where he will be introduced on the ice at the start of the game.
Matt will also be available in the foyer following the game for autographs.
