NEXT HOME GAME: Following Saturday’s 2-3 WIN on the road in Guildford, THIS SUNDAY’s (6:00pm face-off) 2nd leg at Braehead Arena is a MASSIVE game for the club as we look to make next weekend’s Final 4 in Nottingham. Don’t miss out, get your tickets NOW online HERE or by calling 0844 499 1700.

Glasgow Clan head coach Pete Russell has called on the Purple Army to come out in force for THIS SUNDAY’s Predictorbet Playoff Quarter Final 2nd Leg.

The Clan came away from the first leg in Guildford on Saturday night with a slender 3-2 lead heading into Sunday’s clash at Braehead Arena.

With defenceman Matt Stanisz likely to have joined forwards Brendan Connolly, Jack Musil and Matt Haywood on the injury list, the Clan will have to dig deep to progress.

However, Russell was happy to come away with a win and lead from The Spectrum – a building the Clan have previously failed to win in.

“I am happy to come out of that difficult building with a win and a lead heading into tomorrow’s game” commented Russell.

“Guildford are a very good team, so it was great to secure a win and I am positive and excited ahead of the game back in Braehead.

“We’re really up against it having lost Connolly and Musil, plus Haywood and Stanisz really struggling. The fans were outstanding tonight and will have a huge part to play tomorrow night.

“The Purple Army generate the best atmosphere in the country and we’re really going to need that during the second leg – it’s that cliché, but they can be the sixth skater.

“We need everyone to come out in force tomorrow night, generate that electric atmosphere and help us make Nottingham!”

Pete has spoken, WE NEED YOU THIS SUNDAY (6:00pm face-off) to help us make the Final 4 weekend. Get your tickets NOW online HERE or by calling the ticket hotline on 0844 499 1700.
