NEXT HOME GAME: It’s the biggest game of the season THIS SUNDAY, when the Guildford Flames are the visitors to Braehead Arena in the Playoff 1/4 Final 2nd leg (6:00pm face-off). Tickets are available NOW online HERE or by calling 0844 499 1700.

Glasgow Clan head coach Pete Russell has called on his team to show mental strength this weekend against the Guildford Flames.

The Clan travel to Surrey on Friday, ready to face the Flames in the first leg of the Playoff Quarter Finals on Saturday (6:00pm face-off) with the second leg at Braehead Arena only 24 hours later (6:00pm face-off).

The aggregate winner over the two legs will progress to the Playoff Finals Weekend at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April.

“We are looking forward to what is the biggest weekend of the season so far, and the challenge of facing a very good Guildford team” commented Russell.

“I have the upmost respect for Paul Dixon and the Guildford Flames. They are a quality club and we have had some great battles against them this season.

“Yes, we head into the two games missing bodies, but we all have to find a little more. Adversity doesn’t build character, it reveals it!

“The regular season is over and it’s tournament hockey – playoff hockey is a totally different beast to the regular season. With the Purple Army right behind us, anything can happen!
