NEWS: WEST Brewery to sponsor Summer Series games

The Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce WEST Brewery as a sponsor for the upcoming 2019/20 season.

Based on Glasgow Green and started in 2006 by German born Petra Wetzel, WEST have been brewing the finest artisan lagers and wheat beers in the UK ever since.

The agreement will see WEST as the official sponsor of our Summer Series games at Braehead Arena against EHC Freiburg on Saturday 24th August (7:00pm face-off) and Sunday 25th August (4:00pm face-off).

To celebrate Freiburg’s visit to Glasgow and in conjunction with WEST, the Clan will be holding a ‘FREIDAY’ Fan Party at WEST Brewery on Friday 23rd August starting at 7pm.

Clan Business Development Executive, Gerry McLaughlin, commented: “We’re delighted that WEST have agreed to become an official partner of the Clan for our exciting Summer Series games.

“It’s very fitting that WEST’s ethos is ‘Glaswegian Heart. German Head’ with the exciting visit of EHC Freiburg to the West of Scotland for the very first time.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming all the Purple Army and visiting Freiburg fans to WEST Brewery for the ‘FREIDAY’ event.”
