THIS SATURDAY (face-off at 7pm) we face-off against the Northern Irish hockey powerhouse the Belfast Giants at Braehead Arena.
Currently sitting top of the EIHL with 20 wins in 26 the Giants have been in fine fettle this season. Perhaps even more impressive has been their goal-scoring record with 99 goals for and only 55 against, a + 34 goal differential with only 26 matches played. All of this achieved after losing their top points scorer of the 17/18 season Brendan Connolly to Clan.
But they can be beaten. Giants lost their last visit across the sea when they visited Dundee last Wednesday in a 6-4 loss. Clan ourselves were a mere 2 seconds away from taking Giants to overtime at Braehead in October.
