The prolific winger has finished in the EIHL’s top ten points scorers during each of the last three season’s that he has played in the UK.

Beca will also move into the position of player assistant-coach this season following discussions with Clan head coach Zack Fitzgerald.

“He was consistent all season for us last year and made some big plays in crucial moments.

“I have huge respect for his experience and knowledge of the game. Bringing him in as assistant coach is crucial to the success of our team and first season behind the bench.

“He will have a good feeling of what’s going on in the room and take on a big role with me when it comes to our preparation and execution of our systems.

“We are very pleased that Matt wants to take this role.”

Beca will once again wear #26 during the upcoming 2019/20 season.
