Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce the re-signing of #58 Matt Stanisz for the 2019/20 season.
The 28-year-old Canadian defenceman was a popular player last season with the Purple Army after joining from EIHL rivals the Manchester Storm and went on to record 32 points (4+28) in 55 EIHL matches for the Glasgow Clan.
Matt also was selected as Clan’s defenceman of the season for 2018/19 at the end of season awards.
Head Coach Pete Russell is delighted to welcome back Matt, who he hailed for his consistency throughout the season:
“It’s great to have Stan back with the Clan next season.” confirmed head coach Pete Russell.
“Stan was one of our most consistent performers last season. He is a solid two-way d-man who can play in all situations.
He was a key part in the locker room and another one of the core we wanted to retain.”

Matt is the 5th signing so far for Clan in 2019/20 after Patrick Killeen, Scott Tanski, Craig Moore and Scott Pitt have already put pen to paper for the 2019/20 season.
