Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce the signing of 19-year-old Scottish netminder Jordan McLaughlin for the 2019/20 season.

Jordan joins from the Clan’s NIHL affiliate, the Solway Sharks, and has previously pulled on a Glasgow jersey when he was in the club’s line-up for the 2018 Summer Series.

The Edinburgh native has previous EIHL experience with the Edinburgh Capitals where he played 27 matches over two years.

Clan Head Coach Zack Fitzgerald is looking forward to seeing what the 6’ 1” goaltender can make of his opportunities this season:

Jordan is a young, hungry and local goalie who spent some time with us during the last year.” confirmed Fitzgerald.

Homegrown talent is vital to the EIHL and it’s great to have a Scottish player on the roster.

“We’re looking forward to seeing him develop alongside Patrick Killeen and provide competition for the netminder spot.

“Most importantly we are looking for him to sharpen his own game and work hard for his opportunities.”

Jordan will wear #88 for the upcoming season.

Jordan becomes the Clan’s thirteenth player for 2019/20, following confirmation that Patrick Kileen, Matt Pufahl, Matt Beca, Rasmus Bjerrum, Jack Musil, Craig Peacock, Scott Pitt, Scott Tanski, Craig Moore, Linden Springer, Jordan Heywood and Matt Stanisz having already put pen to paper.
